This atmospheric landscape painting captures the raw beauty of a cascading waterfall surrounded by a dense forest of fir trees. The artist skilfully depicts the interplay of light and shadow, creating a sense of depth and mystery as the water tumbles between craggy rocks. Signed and dated to the lower right. The oil has been well presented in a large gilt effect frame and slip. On canvas on stretchers.
