About the Item
"This painting was created at sunset on the North Shore of Oahu." said Daria about this artwork. "The sun had just disappeared below the horizon, and tiny pink cloud still lingered in the sky - it too vanished shorty after. Darkness came quickly, and the scene captures the final fleeting minutes before nightfall.
Painted with small, impressionistic strokes, the work focuses solely on the rock where I stood, the ocean, and the opposite cliff - one of the three that give Tree Tables Beach its name. That rock appeared and disappeared with the motion of the waves, shimmering in the twilight. "

It’s painted on American canvas, hand-stretcher by the artist over a custom frame. Professional Italian and French oil paints were used, and the painting is sealed with a protective varnish.

Daria Molostnova lives and works in Hawaii, where she discovered the true beauty of the surrounding world. Her paintings reflect the local reality, expressed through her personal cultural code. A graduate of the Russian State University of Design and Applied Arts named Stroganoff, she earned her master's degree, blending the traditions of classical education with a contemporary artistic perspective.
Daria grew up in a family of professional artists, her mother being a renowned designer and lead doll artist of the Soviet Union. Since 1997, Daria has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, and since 1998, a member of the International Union of Journalists.
She has taught at the Russian-Italian Art School Perotti and the Correspondence People's University of Arts. She has conducted numerous workshops both in Russia and abroad, as well as team-building activities for companies such as Harpers Bazaar, Mercedes, and Coca-Cola.
Daria has participated in international artist residencies in such countries as Bosnia, France, and Italy. She is a participant in many Russian and international art fairs, competitions, and exhibitions. Currently, she collaborates with galleries in Hawaii and California.
Her works are held in several Russian museums, as well as in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
Daria's paintings are a fusion of flawless craftsmanship and a vivid sense of life that her work conveys. The inspiration and light embedded in her paintings will stay with you if you become their owner.
