Abstracted landscape by California artist Devon Brockopp-Hammer (American, b. 1986). The bold orange underpaint has been allowed to peek through the composition, adding a glowing effect to the piece. Two large blocks of color are painted over the sky, and pieces of paper reading "this is not a place" have been affixed to the painting.
