About the Item
The painting was painted from life on a sunny summer day. In the middle is the monastery of the Assumption of Mary in Würzburg, located on the banks of the Main. We see its wall with a gate and a cathedral with a bell tower, on the spire of which a glare of sunlight falls. The azure sky with lilac and ochre shades occupies most of the painting. Against its background, on both sides of the monastery, are trees and bushes covered in thick greenery, which by the end of summer had already managed to partially turn yellow and partially wither. The painting is painted in bright sunny colors in a manner close to impressionism.

Dmitry Evtushenko graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In art, the artist follows traditions multiplied by impressions from life. He never stops improving his skills and artistic language. Dmitry has participated in several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Russia and Germany. The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
