In this Contemporary Landscape painting Fleur Park engages with the landscape and fields which surround her in her country life.
Fleur Parks art is influenced by the push and pull of her country life vs her old city life. The juxtaposition of these two is seen in most of her work. The fields that surround her in her country life and in her childhood give her the sense of home and space yet the pull of the city is always there with the bright lights and skyscrapers. Colour is also an important factor for Fleur as she is influenced by nature and natural raw colours found within the environment.
