About the Item
How does the creative process unfold for an artist? Is it shaped by the influence of others' images and ideas—or born from personal reinterpretation?
If every artwork is, in some way, a mosaic of collective influence, might we consider art as the product of a shared consciousness—a universal thread that connects minds across borders?
In this painting, one viewer may recognize the silhouette of Venice, while another sees the skyline of Miami. In reality, the city on the horizon is an abstract form—an open invitation for each observer to find their own meaning. The ambiguity allows the viewer to project, reflect, and connect with what feels most familiar.
About series
This painting is from the "Hope" series, where the idea of preserving one's identity despite challenging circumstances is conveyed, as well as the hope for a return to peaceful life. In her work, Ksenia does not depict the pain of internal conflict. Instead, she seeks points of support to rise and move forward, to help others rebuild their lives.

Ksenia Tsyganyuk, born in 1991 in northern Russia, began her artistic career after moving to Rivne, Ukraine. Her paintings—landscapes and still lifes—capture a joyful, childlike sense of wonder through vibrant colors, rich textures, and ornamental details. With a touch of naïveté in her imagery, she seeks to awaken the viewer’s “inner child,” reminding them of how beautiful the world is when one is free from expectations, eager to explore, and ready to experiment. In today’s fast-changing and stressful world—marked by crises, wars, and forced migration—it’s easy to lose balance and feel overwhelmed. Ksenia’s art offers a moment of respite, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their own feelings of lightness and freedom. She hopes to rekindle the emotions of childhood, when one feels safe, at home, and surrounded by love. Her goal is to create art that helps people reconnect with their inner Sun—the light that guides them through life.
Ksenia works in mixed media, blending acrylic and oil on canvas. She favors a loose, expressive style that preserves the spontaneity of each brushstroke, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.Education
