Majestic landscape of a sweeping mountain valley vista at Cataract Creek in Alberta by Canadian artist Lloyd C. Laverick (1914-1981). Completed in a pleasing modernist style, this piece captures the massive scale of the landscape - a river running through an immense valley, with a mountain range towering above it. Some shadows are cast on the valley, but the mountains are still bathed in a warm light.
Signed "Laverick" lower right corner.
