About the Item

This piece was created with generous brushstrokes of oil paint, loosely referencing a desert landscape. The title Strange Terrain comes from the nature of the painting being in an in between space of both recognizable shapes / forms and other worldly, abstract shapes. Created during the 2020 lockdown, the painting also tries to capture the feeling of being in a strange place, new terrain that is unfamiliar. The bright pinks, blues, oranges and yellows bring a vibrant / slick / cool presence to any interior space. This series of works is currently in progress, I am continuing on with these works but in slightly different approaches these days as of 5/2022, stay posted for new postings of similar Strange Terrain landscapes.
