The inspiration for Dancing Pinks was a symphony of breathtaking vibrant reds and soft pinks that seemed to breath life into the landscape like an enchanting dance. The shades blend seamlessly, forming layers that draw the eye in.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
Susanne Winter - Artist - Painter - I did my foundation course in Hastings School of Art followed by a Fashion & Textiles degree in Leicester then moved to London and worked in Interior design companies producing one off hand-painted pieces.
I have exhibited in many London galleries over the years taking part in and being very involved in a large thriving artistic community.
I now work from my studio in Guildford, Surrey. I take my paints everywhere with me so I have a huge collection of sketches and drawings which my final pieces are inspired by.
My inspiration is drawn from the ever-changing land, sky and seascapes of the North Downs, Isle of Wight, South Wales, Lake District and wherever I am lucky enough to find myself.
My work is based on the properties of colour, the effects generated by movements which then creates the mood of the energy. The goal of my work is to evoke emotions felt when we experience nature. The ever-changing land and seascapes constantly evolving with light and reflection as its inspiration.
The development of each painting rests in the layering process using a brush and palette knife. I use a vibrant palette balanced with mellow softness. Sketches and colour studies are made in location which lead to strong spontaneous work in my studio.
