About the Item

Wayne Beam Morrell (1923 - 2013) was a Prolific New England painter whose best subjects were seaside Gardens. Morrell is a member of the Allied Artists of America, Grand Central Art Galleries, American Artists Professional League, American Veterans Society, Salmagundi Club, Hudson Valley Artists, Springfield Academic Artists, Southern Vermont Art Association, and the Rockport Art Association. Wayne Morrell and his family maintain their home and studio in Rockport, Massachusetts. Here we have the most incredible pathway thru a Garden leading to the sea with sailboats in the far. There is a lot of texture and colors, some of the flowers have a very thick impasto (photograph shows). Painting most likely is Cape Anne The painting speaks for it self and very large Wayne Beam Morrell Oil on Masonite 24x30 inches unframed 32x38 inches frame 1970’s Great condition
