Winter is coming
Located in Ibadan, Oyo
"Winter is Coming" is an artwork that conjures a sense of anticipation, foreboding, and transformation. The title itself evokes the imagery of the changing seasons and the imminent arrival of winter, a time often associated with cold, stillness, and introspection. The artwork may depict various visual elements that represent the transition into winter. It could showcase barren trees, falling leaves, or a landscape covered in a blanket of snow. The artist may use a subdued color palette, capturing the muted tones and ethereal atmosphere of the season. Through "Winter is Coming," the artist may explore the deeper symbolism associated with winter. It can represent the passage of time, the cycles of nature, and the inevitability of change. The artwork may serve as a reminder that just as winter arrives, so too do periods of challenge, introspection, and personal growth in our own lives. Moreover, "Winter is Coming" invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences and emotions connected to the season. It may evoke feelings of nostalgia for cozy moments by the fireplace, the beauty of snow-covered landscapes, or the introspection that winter's stillness brings. It also prompts contemplation on the resilience and adaptability required to navigate life's challenges. The artwork may inspire viewers to embrace the transformative power of winter, acknowledging that even in the harshest of seasons, there is beauty and potential for renewal. It encourages us to find solace and strength in the quieter moments, to reflect on our journeys, and to prepare ourselves for the opportunities that lie ahead. "Winter is Coming" is an artwork that captures the essence of transition, introspection, and the cyclical nature of life. It prompts reflection on the beauty and challenges associated with the arrival of winter, both in the natural world and within our own lives. The artwork serves as a reminder to embrace change, find resilience, and discover the hidden wonders that lie within the quieter moments of our journey. - Shipping Procedure Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, not a print or other type of copy. My Dear Lady
Located in Ibadan, Oyo
The eagle, a symbol of strength, freedom, and keen observation, has been revered across cultures and throughout history. With its piercing eyes, commanding presence, and unparalleled aerial prowess, it embodies the beauty and grace of nature. In "My Dear Lady," Bright Toh ingeniously combines the eagle's regal qualities with the elegance and vulnerability of the human form, seamlessly merging the earthly and the ethereal. One cannot help but be immediately drawn to the artwork's vibrant color palette. Bright Toh's deliberate choice of bold hues, such as royal blues, fiery reds, and golden yellows, electrifies the composition and infuses it with energy. The juxtaposition of these vivid colors creates a striking contrast against the serene background, amplifying the visual impact of the artwork and making it a feast for the eyes. The positioning of the eagle-headed human...

Turquoise is a calming colour and this piece will bring you inner peace and a sense of tranquility. Pixie Willoughby artist with Wychwood Art. Born in Lincolnshire in 1972, Pixie qualified from Lancaster University in 1994, with BA hons QTS in English Literature and Theatre Studies. For the next 26 years, she taught primary aged children in schools located in the UK, Portugal and Thailand. Whilst teaching in Thailand, Pixie developed her love and interest in art. In 2012, she was commissioned to paint 99 paintings for the bedrooms of a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. Following this success, Pixie retired from teaching and returned to the UK to focus full time on her art. When Pixie is not painting, she is training for triathlons. Having completed an Ironman in 2018, this has fuelled her belief that anything is possible. "I believe art is creation. It's in the rustling trees, it's in the air we breathe, it's in the songs we sing, it's in everything. I am proud of my art as it has a voice. It speaks to me, it speaks for me. It reveals my heart and my soul. I hope my art speaks to others too. That it comforts and confronts, that it challenges and questions, that it demands all and nothing. My art is my books, my music, my history and the history of others. Electric Dreams...
