A man of great beauty and distinction, a Baudelairean dandy, the son of a very famous painter, Otto Vautier loved women and he loved painting them. He loved Geneva, where he chose to live, and which he illustrated in large allegorical panels, one of which is entitled "the triumph of beauty", where the woman has the capital role of indicating the way of arts at the City of Calvin. Otto Vautier is a virtuoso of all techniques, from oil to pastels, from pencil to charcoal and watercolor.
