Board size: 31 x 16 inches
A rare find, two paintings as one. This incredible abstract portrait of 'Prue' is a dramatic portrayal, and so fashionable. The background is a medley of orange and purple, with a pop of blue in the lower portrait.
The faces are very Picasso with a nod to the cubism era. Picasso is regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
We have many paintings of a similar nature by this incredible female artist, Beatrice Werlie (b.1974). The work has excellent provenance having come from a large collection of the artists work in Normandy, France. The artist exhibits with the Galerie Artitude, Paris.

The paintings and boards are both in a very pleasing condition, very minor scuffs to surface.
