This mesmerizing 1950s modern portrait features an oil on canvas painting by Maurice Ambroise Ehlinger (1896 - 1981). The model is Miss France Noel, a socialite from the Paris bourgeoisie. The piece is hand-signed in the bottom left corner. The canvas's back has the following caption: "Mademoiselle France Noel par M. Ehlinger - MCMLVII."
