About the Item

Early Spring Day, It has taken me a very long time to get the balance between inside and outside right with this painting. Three years in fact! I wanted there to be a conversation between the outside and the inside as if the spring energy was informing the sleepy studio to wake up and say hooray good things are on the way. I had to move the bars of the windows, change the tone of them and quite a lot of other smaller things as well. oil on canvas 90 x 100 cm, 2021-24 In the frame 91 cm x 111cm
