In her series "La dilution du souvenir," Camille Brasselet examines memory and the fleeting or short-lived impressions or sensations. His photographs feature people standing by a pool's edge, climbing a staircase, or waiting on a beach. They are thrown into this wavy area, where time and space are no longer concepts.
Photographic paintings by Camille Brasselet are created by staying on the thin line between reality and fiction; they have no beginning or end, just a single moment in time. This contemporary artist examines snippets of stories and pieces of fiction, photograph by photograph. These actors are frequently frozen, by themselves, and waiting.
