Original hand painted and transfer monotype painting by California artist Heather Speck (American, 20th C). Pink and blue textures stand out against a yellow background. The blue has a naturalistic pattern, resembling a coastline, river, or veins.
Initialed "HS" on verso.
Presented in a new grey mat.

Heather Speck exhibited in San Francisco. She studied figure and non objective painting. Her broad brush strokes and bold colors are in the style of San Francisco Figurative movement artist James Weeks and William Daw. From a collection of her signed works we acquired from a retired San Francisco framing studio.
