This signed and numbered print is in excellent condition and comes directly from Lincoln Center, publisher of the edition. b. 1933, Brooklyn, NY Joseph Raffael’s paintings are influenced by both the enveloping paintscapes of the Abstract Expressionists and his experiences in textile design. His method has always relied heavily on photographs and recurrent themes include Japanese carp, water, flowers, gardens, and lily ponds.
