Crow and Man - Abstracted Etching in Ink on Paper
Bold, slightly abstracted etching of a crow and a man by Claudette M. McElroy (American, b. 1943). A man stands to the right side of the composition, with his hand slightly raised, palm facing the viewer. Behind him, a large black bird is descending, wings spread wide. The background is an abstracted landscape, possibly a stone bridge over a body of water, with a forest on the far side.
Signed "Claudette McElroy" in the lower right corner.
Numbered "AP" in the lower left corner.
Presented in a new black mat.
