Don Quichote is an original etching, aquatint and drypoint, frontispiece for La Gazette des Beaux Arts, realized by Frenc artist Félix Henri Bracquemond in 1860. In good conditions. This artwork is Representing, Don Quichote sitting on a chair, with the scenry of the scary animals and men on the back of him, that could be a dream or imagination of Don Quichote here, with his open big book that inspires him to write, this artwork is also which is reminder of Francisco Goya artwork, The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters (El sueño de la razón produce monstruos). Félix Henri Bracquemond (1833 –1914) is a French artist, a painter, and also a famous etcher. He has an important key role in the revival of printmaking, encouraging many artists of his era to use this technique He applied himself to engraving and etching about 1853 and played a leading and brilliant part in the revival of the etcher's art in France. Altogether he produced over eight hundred plates, comprising portraits, landscapes, scenes of contemporary life, and bird-studies.
