"I’ve been witness to a time when women did not have the power to make decisions regarding their own bodies. Fifty years ago, the Supreme Court issued a landmark 7–2 decision in Roe v. Wade, protecting a woman's constitutional right to choose. In 2022, the Supreme Court overruled Roe in Dobbs v. Jackson. Women’s rights are being CUT every day by individual conservative states and a conservative Supreme Court. Are we doomed to repeat the past? I refuse to go back. VOTE for people who stand up for a woman’s right to choose."
"My lithographs are a collection of personal narratives referencing the past to the present.
I consider myself a visual storyteller. I present the lives and perspectives of the women of my family (grandmothers, mother, sister, daughter, granddaughters, and self) in the context of the current state of the world. To do this, I have developed a personal iconography and visual lexicon."
