Sigled, titled, dated on plate on the lower left corner: "L.B. 1931 La Strada d’Ancona". Titled, numbered and hand-signed by the artist in pencil on the lower margin: "La strada d’Ancona 16/50 Luigi Bartolini".
Mint conditions.
Other titles: Il campo di grano, Campo di grano, Strada d'Ancona.
The work is present in the book: Leopardi, Canti, Bucciarelli, 1962. The same print is also preserved in the collection of the Civica Raccolta Bertarelli, Castello Sforzesco (Milan, Italy).

Luigi Bartolini was an Italian painter, writer and poet. He is best known for his novel, Bicycle Thieves, upon which the Italian neorealist film of the same title, directed by Vittorio De Sica, was based. He published more than 70 books during his lifetime.
