Pablo Picasso's "Femme au grand nez, en raccourci, sur un lit" (Woman with Big Nose, in Foreshortening, on a Bed) is an etching created on June 1, 1971, as part of his renowned "Series 156". This series, completed between 1968 and 1972, comprises 156 etchings and is notable for its introspective and often erotic themes.
The etching measures approximately 36.8 x 49.2 cm (14.5 x 19.4 inches) and was printed on BFK Rives paper. It was published posthumously in 1978 by the Leiris Gallery. The work is signed with Picasso's stamped signature and was produced in a limited edition of 50 numbered copies.
