Redemption is a splendid etching and drypointr ealized by the Italian artist Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000).
Hand-signedin pencil on the lower right margin "R. Tommasi F." and numbered in pencil and in Arabic numerals on the lower left margin. From an edition of 60 prints.
Tommasi Ferroni's style is recognizable in the fluid hatching, in the deep blacks and in the metaphysical, visionary, and surreal subject matter: it seems to be a redemption, or a peace after the storm.
The state of preservation is excellent, this is an original print, with a short-edition,a sophisticated piece and a sort of rebus game to decipher!
