About the Item
Old Ruins In Rome is an original lithograph realized by Anonymous artist in 1849.
The print is taken from the daguerreotype of that period and shows the ruins caused by the disaster of the war in Rome.
The artwork shows some of the most important buildings and monument of that period, such as Palazzo del Vascello and Palazzo dei Quattro Venti. On the higher part of the print, there are two soldiers on the horseback.
This lithograph is a very important testimony of the war that took place in Rome between 1848 and 1849.
