Società Fratellanza Italiana is a beautiful historical document to confer to the General Giuseppe Garibaldi the honorary presidency of the Italian Brotherhood Society in 1881.
A long explicative 8 printed and hand-written) inscription in Italian : " Società Fratellanza Italiana nell'America del Sud , Repubblica di Venuezuela/ sede in Valera / E.do Trujillo/ É conferito il presente Diploma di Presidente Onorario al Cittadino Generale Giuseppe Garibaldi conforme agli articoli 6, 9, 17, 30, dello Statuto Fondamentale della Società Fratellanza Italiana e previa approvazione dell'assemblea riunita il giorno 18 Febbraio e 20 Settembre 1881. dato e frimato nel Gabinetto del Comitato Direttivo nella Città di Valera il diì 20 Settembre 1881.".
Signed in black ink by the secretary and the President of the Society, with a black ink stamp "Fratellanza Italiana, Unione, Patria, Filantropia". A really beautiful historical document to study and collect jealously!
In good conditions, except for some light folds of the paper, some sporadic stains, signs of the time, and some discolorations of the ink.
