About the Item
George Condo, Mythological Figures, 2018
Created for the George Condo: The Way I Think exhibition in 2018 the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, showcasing his signature blend of classical portraiture and surreal abstraction. Condo’s distinctive style—merging old master techniques with cubist and expressionist influences—has made him one of the most sought-after contemporary artists. His exaggerated, hybridised figures evoke both familiarity and distortion, capturing the absurdities of modern life. A striking piece for collectors and admirers of his bold, thought-provoking work.
