About the Item

Laelia Harpophylla is native to Brazil and grows in humid semi-shady areas in intermediate to warm temperatures. Original colour-printed lithograph by Joseph Mansell after the watercolour by landscape painter and botanical artist, Henry George Moon (1857-1905) for Reichenbachia: Orchids Illustrated and Described published in London in 1888 by Ghent, Hanover-born nurseryman Henry Frederick Conrad Sander (1847-1920). Limited edition, edition number 27/100. Henry George Moon signed in the plate. It laid on to contemporary card (as published), with slight spotting, some chipping to the edges of the boards. The title and limit pages are not for sale, just for supply information. Sheet size is 68 x 49 cm, image size is 47 * 33 cm. This lithograph is in fine condition.
