"Pueblos" - Hand-Augmented Fauvist Landscape in Ink and Pastel on Paper
Bold and saturated depiction of pueblo buildings by Margie Dickson (American, b. 1938). These buildings are high-contrast, with bright peach-colored faces lit up by the sun and rich purple and blue shadows. The underlayer of this piece is a screenprint, but pastels have been added on top, creating a unique composition.
Titled, numbered, and signed along the bottom edge: "Pueblos State II 6/7 Margie Dickson"
Presented in a new grey mat with foamcore backing.
