In 2019, ArtStar proposed to ET Projects an opportunity to create fine art, limited edition prints which would capture the memory of our events. We are excited by the prospect of printed imagery keeping alive the joy, camaraderie, and hope experienced under our umbrellas.
ET Projects, a 501(c)3, was created in 2018 with the vision to bring communities together through the magic of art and nature. Shoreline Project was the first large scale immersive art experience launched in partnership with the Laguna Art Museum, in Laguna Beach, CA. The second venue was to be Vientienne, Laos, along the edge of the Mekong. Postponed by Covid-19, ET Projects reinvented and in 2020 and launched Project: “Look Up” in partnership with Mt. San Antonio Gardens. The images are of bold, resilient plants, each with a unique story of nature overcoming adversity.
Spearheaded by Elizabeth Turk, an artist known primarily as a sculptor of marble, she expanded her portfolio to include public art experiences through ET Projects. TELL ME HOW TO BEHAVE
Series of photographs digitally intervened and road signs transformed (life-size), who wonder about the infinite possibilities, without losing sight of the fact that in all of them. There is the possibility of death.
With this in mind, the work seeks to relate to the viewer, in terms of the experience lived, decisions in time, or personal history, which are common to all.
Functioning as a counter-proposal to the expectations that the group expects from the individual.
The dislocated-edited reality makes us ask about our reality and to what extent.
Sample freedom of choice is influenced by external agents, mass control systems, mass media, etc.
Waste, immaturity, successes, time lived. The series plays
with the presentation of bad possibilities, absurd and impossible, and their relationship with time. Letting you see the paradox
of memories and experience, raising its relationship with the present. Where the image of the road, as an American space of freedom, opens up to the idea of a space large enough to imagine the possibility of reinvention in every second.

John Conn got his start as a Marine Combat photographer, and later earned his BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
As a freelance photographer and writer, he has captured a range of subjects photojournalism delving into political and social issues, nature and landscapes, architecture, and underwater images. Starting in 1970, John traveled to South Africa capturing images of the people and social divide of Aparteid. His iconic Subway series shot between the mid 1970’s and 1982 in New York City is part of the permanent collection of The New York Historical Society and Hoboken Historical Museum. In 2010, John Conn spent 45 days in Antarctica and Patagonia, traveling and hiking to capture the land and seascapes. He spent over 20 days journeying over 3,200 nautical miles in Antarctica before heading to Patagonia for the second part of his expedition. In 2014/15 John began a series of treks across the US photographing Americans, similar to what Robert Frank did in the late 1950’s. In 2015/16, he spent a month in Cuba photographing...
