This artwork titled "Woman with Arrow" 1661 is an etching on paper After Rembrandt Van Rijn, 1606-1669, plate engraved By French renown engraver Charles Armand Durand, 1831-1905. The Plate mark (image) is 8 x 5 inches, framed size is 24 x 21 inches. Referenced and pictured in the artist catalogue raisonne "The Complete Etching of Rembrandt" Published by Gary Schwartz, New York, plate B.202. Custom framed in a black and silver decorated frame, with black color matting and gold line. It is in excellent condition. Please note that this artwork is from a contemporary edition.
About the engraver Charles Armand Durand:
Charles Amand Durand (1831-1905) was a French engraver who was highly skilled in the art of engraving and recognized for his ability to reproduce the fine details and nuances of works by master artists such as Rembrandt, Dürer, and others.
Durand was a master engraver who specialized in the techniques of intaglio engraving, a form of printmaking in which lines are incised into a metal plate using sharp tools. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to reproduce the tonal variations and textures of the original artwork.
Durand's reputation as an engraver led to many commissions to create new plates based on old masterpieces that had been damaged or lost. He worked closely with museums, collectors, and art historians to ensure that his engravings were faithful to the original works, and he used his extensive knowledge of engraving techniques to produce plates that were highly detailed and precise.

Born in 1895, German painter, etcher and illustrator Carl Joseph Bauer studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Wilhelm von Diez and Angelo Jank. Among many others, Bauer exhibited his work at the famous "Glaspalast" (Glass Palace) in Munich and was President of the Allotria Art Association for ten years.
