Participants included John Cage, Robert Rauschenberg, Merce Cunningham and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Alison Knowles, Charlotte Moorman, David Tudor, Clark Coolidge, Jackson Mac Low, Arthur Russell, Mimi Johnson, Nam June Paik, Christian Wolff, Ursula Oppens, Paul Zukofsky, Margaret Hee-leng Tan, and many others. Milton Ernest "Robert" Rauschenberg was an American painter and graphic artist whose early works anticipated the Pop Art movement. Rauschenberg is well known for his Combines, a group of artworks that incorporate everyday objects as art materials and blur the distinctions between painting and sculpture. Music - Celebrity
