About the Item
This official FIFA poster was designed by French artist Roland Topor for an exhibition held at Galerie Maeght in conjunction with the 1982 FIFA World Cup (Mundial) in Spain. The artwork celebrates the global event with a whimsical yet evocative visual language, characteristic of Topor’s surrealist style. Highlighting the host city of Málaga in southern Spain, the poster captures both the festive spirit of the tournament and the artist’s uniquely imaginative interpretation.
A total of 20,000 copies were printed, making this a collectible piece for both football enthusiasts and art lovers alike.
