Affresco di Aranci - Orange Trees
Located in Brooklyn, NY
This photograph captures the timeless beauty of an aged 18th-century Italian fresco painting. The artwork features potted orange trees, their vibrant green foliage and citrus fruits providing a striking contrast. Set against the backdrop of an expansive Italian countryside, the landscape unfolds with rolling hills and distant vistas. The significance of the orange trees in the fresco is deeply rooted in the historical context of 18th-century Italy. During this period, the cultivation of citrus fruits, including oranges, became a symbol of prosperity and luxury. Italy, with its favorable climate, was a prime location for cultivating oranges, and their presence in frescoes often represented affluence, abundance, and the beauty of the Italian landscape. Fidel Santos...

The paintings of Robin Morris are her observations of life, stylized, playful, and yet challenging to the viewer. Her emotions are hidden beneath layers of color and pattern. The fifty editions that followed, firmly established her in the artistic community and enhanced her broad-based collector appeal. This print on canvas is a particularly rare image. Renee's Breakfast
Located in Brooklyn, NY
"Renee's Breakfast" depicts a simple image of three eggs on a plate with bacon, a breakfast so familiar to many, and serves as a poignant reminder of the passage of time and the transience of even the most ordinary moments. Just as the morning sun rises and sets, casting shifting shadows and changing the hues of the yolks, so does life move forward, never standing still. The sizzling bacon mirrors life's moments, fleeting and ephemeral, yet leaving behind a savory residue of memories. In this seemingly mundane tableau, we find an allegory for the ceaseless march of time, urging us to savor each bite, each moment, for they are as precious as the breakfast on our plate. John Kato...

"Did I know Her?" Print 28 × 20 in. Edition 1/10 by Kate Garner
Located in Culver City, CA
"Did I know Her?" Print 28 × 20 in. Edition 1/10 by Kate Garner Signed and numbered by the artist. Not framed. Ships in a tube. Kate Garner is an English photographer, fine artist, and singer. Garner has photographed a wide range of musicians and celebrities, including Dr. Dre, Leigh Bowery, JT LeRoy, Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, David Bowie, Cameron Diaz, PJ Harvey, John Galliano, Björk, and Kate Moss. Her work has appeared in the American and British versions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar as well as W magazine, Interview, GQ, Vanity Fair, Elle, and The Sunday Times. Kate Garner was expelled from high school at the age of 16 and became a runaway who joined The Children Of God. To escape the grasp of the cult she hitchhiked from London through Eastern Europe to India in 1970, where she lived for a year as a traveler before being located by her parents. She attended art school at Blackpool in the North of England and later moved to London, where she began to both photograph and model for up-and-coming magazines such as The Face and i-D. Kate Garner first came widely into the public eye as one-third of the 1980s avant-garde, new wave pop project Haysi Fantayzee, along with other members Jeremy Healy and Paul Caplin. Emanating from street art scenes such as the Blitz Kids that were cropping up in London in the early 1980s, Haysi’s music combined reggae, country, and electro with political and sociological lyrics couched as nursery rhymes. Catapulted to stardom by their visual sensibilities, Haysi Fantayzee combined their extreme clothes sense – described as combining white Rasta, tribal chieftain, and Dickensian styles – with a quirky musical sound comparable to other new wave musical pop acts of the era, such as Bow Wow Wow, Adam and the Ants and Bananarama. They appeared several times on the BBC Television program Top of the Pops. Despite being touted by Bowie producer Tony Visconti as the next big thing, the group quickly disbanded after releasing three hit singles “John Wayne Is Big Leggy”, “Shiny Shiny”, and “Holy Joe”, and an album, Battle Hymns for Children Singing, that went gold. Garner then returned to painting, photography, and video, launching a successful media arts career, starting with her collaboration with Sinéad O’Connor...

Ancient Woodland, North Norfolk, Mandala and Collage of Woodland Nature
Located in London, GB
Ancient Woodland All the elements used were collected from the first walk with my Mum and stepdad between lockdowns. All from a small woodland in North Norfolk. Ancient Woodland, 2020 Series: Detritus Archival Pigment Print, Mounted on Dibond in custom made Frame; with Black Stained Oak and antireflective UV protective museum standard Art Glass Print 60 x 60 cm / Framed: 62 x 62 cm/ 24.5 x 24.5 inches approx. Edition of 8 + 2AP About the project: "Detritus' series was born from the twin frustrations of lockdown halting all planned projects, yet litter still somehow being dropped in abundance on my street. With no idea of the final output, or indeed the hygiene implications, I started to collect, scan, and record what I found. When I realised these colourful misshapen objects could be turned into something beautiful, the frustrations left me and I began looking for other sources of Detritus. These collages gave me purpose during the pandemic and allowed me to grow something beautiful from a place of frustration. My aim is to simply give viewers of the work a fleeting moment of calm. Unable to shoot anything, I’ve been making collections of things I find on the ground and scanning them to create composite images of otherwise ignored or discarded objects." - George McLeod...
