This original poster was created by Chinese-American New Yorker T.F. Chen for the Statue of Liberty Centennial in 1986. Chen’s signature use of vibrant, bold colors forms the backdrop for the majestic Statue, surrounded by the flags of the world and portraits of America’s most iconic presidents. An angel offers her blessing, while the New York City harbor provides a stunning background, celebrating liberty and cultural unity in Chen's dynamic, expressive style.
