In the vicinity of Eindhoven and far beyond in Holland and Belgium, you will encounter images in public spaces, recognizable from a great distance because of the design and the use of materials. The power of the images is determined by the shapes that differ from all sides, the material and certainly the format.
For the exhibition "Scenic" Jan Wils made a series of images based on flat sheet material. Processing the flat sheet material in this way and connecting it to each other was particularly challenging and interesting for the artist. He often uses old mechanical connections for this. This resulted in beautiful contemporary images that appeal to the imagination, which are particularly attractive in terms of material (brass) and appearance.
Sculptures wil be shipped (worldwide) in a custom made wooden box. Shipping is for free.
