This spectacular and important column by Vasa Mihich has a lovely color palette and complexity of geometric design that affords endless interest. Mihich is the master of acrylic resin and was highly active in the group of artists working and experimenting with Resin in California in the 1970's and forward.
This column is best placed near some natural light to get the full effects of what the artist has intended.
It sits on a black base that has some slight wear to it but is original to the piece and it measures 5.5 x 20 x 15 inches.
The work is signed and has its record # which is included and reflected in the title.

Vasa Velizar Mihich
Academically trained as a painter, Vasa Mihich originally taught theories of color as a senior Professor of Design at the University of California, Los Angeles. The octogenarian artist has been creating his striking transparent acrylic forms since the late 1960’s in his Los Angeles studio and continues to this day to be a forward-thinking innovator.
