About the Item

Christian Thomsen (1860 Kolding - 1921 Copenhagen), Peasant girl with goose, design c. 1910, execution 1966. model number 527. First choice. Porcelain with underglaze painting. 23.5 cm (height) x 12 cm (length) x 14 cm (depth). With the ligature of Christian Thomsen on the plinth, marked and numbered under the base. - in perfect condition - The Mother Goose - The opulent goose clings to the girl's leg as if to follow her everywhere. The rod in the hands of the "mother goose" does not seem to be necessary to drive the animal. Both continue on their way together, which may lead to the goose pen. GERMAN VERSION Christian Thomsen (1860 Kolding - 1921 Kopenhagen), Bauernmädchen mit Gans, Entwurf um 1910, Ausführung 1966. Modellnummer 527. Erste Wahl.
