ABOUT THE ARTIST: Craig Campbell began sculpting more than 25 years ago and received his BFA in sculpture from Wichita State University. To further his goal to create figurative and representational work, he began a rigorous program of self-study in the areas of human and animal anatomy, movement, character, and proportion. He has created work for both commercial clients and fine art galleries, and his work has been commissioned by zoos and theme companies, toy companies, and the film industry, including work for The Hobbit, Elysium and Mad Max. He was a featured artist in the HISTORY channel’s “Monument Guys” TV series.
"Craig’s sculpture is primarily figurative, or animal related and often has a flair of whimsy. His focus is to express life through sculpture, and that he certainly does. To see him working is incredibly inspiring. We too often feel the need to travel to see such beautiful pieces of art or to look in our history only to find them on our door step actively working in our present day. What a gift to be able to be in the presence of a great artist. It does give you a sense of the wonderful and whimsical." -excerpt Vintage Revival

Craig Campbell
Hello! I’m Craig Campbell, Sculptor for the United States Mint, elected Member of the National Sculpture Society, and National Sculptors' Guild, a finalist for the National Statuary Hall for Arkansas' addition of Johnny Cash, and professional artist with over 25 years’ experience in public monuments. In addition to my public art monuments, a large part of my career has been sculpting hyper realistic sports figures, and characters, for toy and collectible companies, including pieces for McFarlane Toys, NECA, and Weta Workshop. My personal interest in this project is to share my hard earned abilities with the Mobile Hall of Fame to create a proper monument honoring these iconic players so that their legends will live on, immortalized in bronze for generations to come.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Denny Haskew currently resides in Loveland, Colorado where he is actively engaged in the art industry as a sculptor. He received his degree from the University of Utah, then served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Having spent numerous years as a guide and ski instructor, Denny has learned to love the rivers and mountains of the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah. After moving to Loveland, a hub of successful working sculptors, he wasted no time in getting monumental sculpture experience through working with renowned sculptors including Fritz White and Kent Ullberg N.A. Since 1987, Denny has created and placed dozens of monumental compositions; spanning the full spectrum of the figurative genre.
As a member of the Potawatomi Citizen Nation, it is only natural for his artwork to follow the Native American culture. His art has not been limited to Native American and southwestern subjects, however, as he frequently explores abstract forms placing emphasis on the qualities of the metal and stone used. As a Charter member of the National Sculptors' Guild and being close to other sculptors and the Loveland area
foundries has helped him to master all the foundry processes involved in producing a desirable and lasting monumental bronze sculpture.
Over 50 major public placements include the Smithsonian Institution, DC.; the Gilcrease Museum, OK; Cerritos, CA; Little Rock, AR; the Shakopee Mdewakanton Dakota Sioux collection, MN, and the Barona Band of Mission Indians...

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I was born in Loveland, Colorado and now reside in nearby Fort Collins. The natural beauty of this region was instrumental in my aesthetic development. The language of the land and its features has guided me toward sculpture as my means of artistic expression.
I discovered my love of art in high school, having been exposed to advanced creative concepts through a self-developed independent study program. I grew up surrounded by construction tools...
