Neil Wood (.1963) is a professional sculptor and fine artist . He has many years experience lecturing in fine art and sculpture at institutions in the UK. He has worked in various settings; in education, as artist in residence and visiting lecturer, alongside his practice producing sculpture for exhibition and public commissions.
He employs a Modernist methodology to explore the human condition in the 21st century. He continues to use the figure as a vehicle to explore formal material qualities and visual language as a means of expressing, often complex, ideas about the world we inhabit and the nature of human experience and relationships. Recent work explores social and political injustices inflicted on the underprivileged and displaced worldwide.
These constructed steel sculptures, finished with an electrostatic powder coating are continuation of the Displaced series. They attempt to express physical representations of the conceptual burdens or challenges that are part of the human condition and experience.
Displaced is a body of work, comprising sculptures, relief panels and works on paper. It aims to explore a general theme of inequality imposed by circumstances. By way of welding, she methodically and repetitively stitches together the threads of stainless steel which accumulate into larger forms. Her decision to only create with this very specific material is quite minimalistic, but Lake engages with the material with multidisciplinary intent. Her work spans from large scale art installation, to design-driven functional items, to wearable and decorative pieces rooted in fine craft. About Heather Guidero
Having grown up under the open skies of rural Indiana, surrounded by animals and agriculture, Heather Guidero early on discovered a love for drawing everything in sight. A community arts center class led to her surprising fascination with jewelry and two decades later, she is as enamored with the metalsmithing process as ever. It shows in her masterfully handcrafted collection of contemporary fine jewelry.
Formally trained at RISD, Heather worked as a goldsmith for renowned jewelry company Reinstein/Ross in New York before returning to Providence, Rhode Island to launch her namesake collection in 2005. Her interest in using line to render drawings three-dimensionally results in unique explorations of volume, movement, and pattern that transform into personal and interactive sculpture on the body.
“Settling in at my bench and picking up my favorite antique files is as natural and reflexive as breathing. There's something comforting about the feel of my favorite tools in hand and being able to turn a sheet of metal or length of wire into a piece of jewelry that will be treasured and worn on a regular basis.”
The graphic lines, textures, and patterns of her work are inspired by elements of modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture translated into ethically-sourced gold and silver. Select pieces are accented by brilliant diamonds or colorful gemstones. Nayla Saroufim was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1982. She graduated from the Académie Lebanese des Beaux-Arts with a degree in Illustration and Art Direction. While working in the publicity field at several multinational advertising agencies, Saroufim began rekindling her interest in art. Creative, a dreamer, and a lover of color and beauty, Saroufim has been engaging in a creative expression of her personality through art for over a decade. She hopes that by looking at her art, people will realize that there is beauty and happiness in the simplest things.
Nayla Saroufim’s work has graced the walls of solo exhibitions including a show in London in December 2015 and one in Beirut in October 2013. Her work has been exhibited at the Beirut Art Fair, in Singapore, and at Asia Contemporary Art. Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles has exhibited her sculptural artworks since 2020.

Artist Biography:
Fred Klingelhofer, a primarily self-taught artist, grew up in a Chicago south side neighborhood. He received a BS degree in physics from Roosevelt University and worked as an engineer for 30 years. During those years he enrolled in art workshops and classes at a nearby community college completing courses in figure drawing, 2D and 3D design, ceramics, sculpting the figure, welding and metal sculpture. His focus has been on creating sculpture since 2006. Fred has exhibited his sculpture in a number of group exhibitions with Chicago Sculpture International, Art Prize (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Sculpture in the Park (St Charles, Illinois), Sculpture Walk Sioux Falls...

Sympathetically capturing the essence of the urban landscape in his work, Jeff says - ‘I studied HND Art & Design at the Glasgow College of Building & Printing before working as a set artist for “the Complex” theatre, Los Angeles. I then went on to study BSc “Special Effects” at Southbank University, London, which led to employment in the Art/Special Effects departments on major movie productions including the Oscar-winning “Last Samurai” and Steven Spielbergs’ Oscar-nominated “Munich”. After several years working as a fine artist in the industry, I realised a lifelong ambition, setting up my own glass studio to research and work with the diverse materials and challenging techniques involved in the creation of multi-layered glass sculpture.’
