A heavy downpour smashes against the windshield distorting the scene ahead. Part of the "windshield series" this painting emphasizes some of the linear aspects of rain and water, as well as motion. Heavy rain experienced from a place of comfort. My windshield paintings aim to capture these fleeting and intimate moments in time and reveal the serene center that can arise in the midst of natures turbulence.
