Olga Klein Astrachan Figurative Drawings and Watercolors
Olga Klein Astrachan was a painter and ceramist. She studied at the Berlin University of the Arts (Germany). Subsequently, she worked for Ulstein and Mosse, where she made the sets and costumes for The Blue Bird at the Jushny’s theater. In 1933, she returned to France in Paris. In 1937, she was noticed by André Warnod at the International Universal Exhibition where she was invited by Raymond Cogniat. In 1937, she married Loca Astrachan. From 1940–45, Olga Klein Astrachan resided in Toulouse. At the end of the Second World War, she returned to Paris and participated in various major salons, House of Culture, Galleries. In 1948, Olga Klein Astrachan started to practice the art of ceramics.
