This very unusual and modernistic work of lighting art comes with the maker's mark M. Sabino in the base and it is another one of our latest great 'finds'. Similar work is mentioned in Janneau "Le lumiere francaise" and since it has the entire natural wear showing its long history of usage, we decided to leave it exactly as is. Both the metal shade and the wooden base have been 'marble painted' and the wear has made this rare light extra special too look at. Trilite is a micro architecture for the room. Often today architecture is conceived as urban and pushy maxi objects. Trilite is just the opposite: a small architecture for an eclectic and discontinuous home landscape, a small portal of light that discreetly illuminates. The base is made of valuable marble, the portal is polished red lacquer while the light is spread by a thin aluminum tile. For minimal lovers it is available also in white.
