Raul Caracoza Art

American, b. 1981
Raul has worked with master printer José Alpuche at Self Help Graphics & Art in Los Angeles, as well as with Richard Duardo at Modern Multiples. The late Rafael Mora helped get him connected with Self Help Graphics. Much of his inspiration is drawn from the Latino culture of his surroundings in LA. His recent works focus on Latino and musical icons generated from computer illustrations. Caracoza studied art at Montebello High School, graduating in 1998. He then attended East Los Angeles College, and Digital Business and Design College in El Monte, California, in 2002. His strong personal graphic style has become very recognizable in the local arts community. Besides his graphic designs, he is also an accomplished photographer who has photographed some of the biggest concerts in Los Angeles. This image of Frida Kahlo is his best known image , about an iconic figure in the Chicano and Hispanic art world.

“Equal Rights, Flower of Democracy” Chuck Sperry Screenprint
By Chuck Sperry
Located in Draper, UT
I am very happy to reveal my poster to raise awareness for the Equal Rights Amendment. This issue means so much to me. Equality is the central issue of our day. “Equality is the flower of democracy. Passing the Equal Rights Amendment — at long last — will be the path to gender equality for our American democracy. I am grateful to be called upon to include my voice in the collective call to bring about gender equality by amending the Constitution with passage of the ERA, and I was quick to reach out to fellow artists to join the call to action.” — Chuck Sperry, artist statement for Artists 4 ERA VoteEqualityUS is a nonpartisan grassroots effort promoting equal rights for all Americans, working to ensure the addition of the fully-ratified 28th Amendment (Equal Rights) to the United States Constitution...

Rory Kurtz - Parasite - Contemporary Cinema Movie Film Posters
Located in Asheville, NC
Parasite: “There’s a lot to unpack in Bong Joon Ho's PARASITE. It asks many questions and doesn’t give us comforting answers. For the poster, I wanted to capture that sense of discomfort and unease. A seemingly picture-perfect moment between the happily rich Parks completely oblivious to what’s unfolding around them, and the Kim family relegated to the shadows struggling with their own complex feelings toward such wealth and privilege. It’s a timely film, groundbreaking for a handful of reasons, and difficult to define. My hope is the poster art is just as mesmerizing and ambiguous as the film itself.” - Rory Kurtz...
