Pierre Jeanneret Bench

About the Item

An exceptional solid Sissoo bench by Pierre Jeanneret for the Chandigarh Project, circa 1956. This bench is a sturdy example of an uncommon form in a further uncommon wood species. Striking sapwood runs through the deep and rich red Indian rosewood. The painted designation remains in good order on this piece. Images can be provided to the purchaser of the bench prior to shipping and restoration.
