This luxurious caftan was made in Morocco during the1970s, but is origins date back thousands of years and span the globe. The history of the caftan is a bit uncertain. It is believed to have originated from Turkish culture but appears in many others. In Morocco, it was first worn by men but was eventually adopted by women, as well.
