Japanese Antique Wabi Sabi Tree Object 1860s-1900s / Mingei Wooden Ornament

About the Item
This is a very old Japanese tree object.
We estimate that it was collected during the Meiji period (1860s-1900s).
It is miraculous that it was found in this condition.
The soft parts of the tree have been scraped away, leaving only the hard parts.
The unique texture and grain of the cedar wood are very beautiful.
It has an overwhelming presence.
This is a very rare item that evokes the sensibility of wabi-sabi.
