Gold and Jade Famille Rose Vase Pink Jingdezhen with Calligraphy Qian Long Style

About the Item

The style: The family is depicted with children who are the subject of the calligraphy. It says reading from right to left, the "living room" (hall), is filled with gold and jade. This translates to gold that represents sons, and jade that represents daughters. The pink ground and the figural painting will make this graceful vase from Jingdezhen a design focal point. The rose color of this vase is as alluring as the culture and values associated with the artwork. It is in the style of the Qian Long Emperor at least 300 years ago, but it was produced mid century. The vase was produced in Southern China. It came from an L.A. estate sale. The family scene encircles the vase. This Famille Rose vase is from the Jingdezhen region and was made between 1940 and 1970. The region is famous for the highest quality of porcelain and has produced quality pieces for 1400 years. Stand is not included. The condition is quite good. There are no chips, scratches, or flea bites.  This is a vase that provides beauty, culture and a pop of color, at an attractive price.
