Beautiful writing case with lid in painted porcelain decorated with stylized flowers and framed plant racemes. Blue and white. This pretty box is a very beautiful decorative object of Asian art. Although it probably served as an ink box, it can today be used as a ring box, a secret box or just as a decorative object on a chest of drawers, a pedestal table or a dressing table. Stamped made in China signed. China, late Qing period (1644-1911).
