Extraordinary Japanese contemporary museum-quality decorative porcelain deep charger, intricately hand-painted in vivid red, green and yellow. It is a signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed award-winning master porcelain artist from the historic Kutani region of Japan. His signature bold flowers create a breathtaking scene with flowers coming alive. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his exceptional work. His profile is available upon request. This magnificent piece showcases a dramatic scene of graceful bold camellias in vivid red in full bloom accompanied by leaves in deep green, set against a striking background of detailed fish scale pattern in white and shades of yellow and brown. The auspicious fish scale pattern symbolizes continuous waves, a wish for a steady and peaceful life and longevity. The same camellia and leaf pattern decorates the reverse side of the charger.
