It is a signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed award-winning master porcelain artist from the historic Kutani region of Japan. This magnificent piece showcases a dramatic scene of graceful bold camellias in vivid red in full bloom accompanied by leaves in deep green, set against a striking background of detailed fish scale pattern in white and shades of yellow and brown. The auspicious fish scale pattern symbolizes continuous waves, a wish for a steady and peaceful life and longevity. The same camellia and leaf pattern decorates the reverse side of the charger.
This striking porcelain charger comes in a custom made wooden case signed by the artist.
